  • Classified Ad Details
    • One of the most important parts of buying an item is looking through all details on the entire ad to make sure you don’t miss anything important and to know for sure that the ad is what you are looking for. Sellers have many opportunities to enter information including all of the specific fields which shop up to the right of the image, and they enter their own description of the item whether it’s a short sentence or a long, detailed description of the item. Just make sure that you read everything on the entire page.
  • How do I ask the seller a question?
    • Asking the seller a question is easy. Simply click on the link that says “contact user” under their username on the ad’s page. From their all you have to do is type your message and hit send. We do the rest of the work for you by immediately having an email sent to the seller containing your message.
  • How do I know when a seller replies to my message?
    • The sellers reply to your message will go directly to your email. So, as soon as they reply you will have it!
  • How do I know that an email is really from It’s Here Classifieds?
    • Emails that we send personally to you, no matter for what reason that will be, will include your first and last name to prove that it’s from us. Someone spamming you will not know the name you have entered in our database. Other emails, such as a periodic newsletter, will not include your name though.
  • After the seller accepts my offer, what do I need to do?
    • Once the seller accepts your offer, you need to make arrangements to complete the transaction. If it is a local transaction, you must agree to meet at a safe, public location. You will also need to finalize an agreement on the payment terms and complete the transaction.
  • What's the safest way to pay a seller?
    • The safest way we recommend to complete a transaction is in person at a public location. In person, you will see the item first and it’s guaranteed the person will not just keep your money and never come through. In regards to physical safety, you must always meet in a public place. You should always look out for yourself when dealing with someone you don’t know. If the seller refuses to meet somewhere public, simply inform them you are no longer interested in their item and look elsewhere. Your safety is always more important than anything that can be purchased from here.
  • Escrow payment services from Escrow.com
    • Using an escrow service is a safe way for a buyer and seller to complete a transaction as long as the escrow service being used in a trusted and reliable provider. We recommend Escrow.com for all transactions above $500, and for all situations where you feel uncertain about a seller. In general, escrow services receive and validate payment from the buyer, and then prompt the seller to send the item to the buyer. When the buyer receives the item, the escrow service sends the seller payment after the buyer has inspected the item. This process helps protect both buyer and seller during the transaction process.
    • Escrow services charge a fee, usually a small percentage of the transaction amount. This fee can be paid by either buyer or seller. For more details, visit Escrow.com.
